Over the past 2 days I’ve had the privilege to visit the Sidamo and Yirgachaffe regions in Southern Ethiopia; regions renowned for producing some of the world’s finest Arabica coffee. After speaking with locals and producers from all aspects of the coffee chain, I have a great appreciation for the amount of work it takes to bring Ethiopian coffee all the way from the highland coffee trees of Yirgachaffee and Sidamo, to your neighborhood coffee roaster. The education taken from this trip will be a valuable source of knowledge for Kingha Coffee as we begin exporting our coffee from the highlands of Uganda to the coffee roasters in your neighborhood.
